This is one of our favourites from the Leaves series – Ash.

«Watch out overhead. Walking in the woods one autumn day, a breeze launched a spinning shower around me. As I stood soaking up the soft sound and flickering shades, I got to thinking about the ash tree. This illustration doesn’t capture the movement of these ‘tiny helicopters’ but it does show the fine wing that creates their almost mechanical flight.»
