Envelope Card Set, Leaves

Set of 6 single A5 cards in a manilla string and washer envelope. Print on front, text on rear. Leaves –  This series is inspired by one of my walks with our dog. How can we learn to recognize the different trees and what they are called? You can make a beautiful collage on your wall with some of these and maybe one of the posters from the same series. Each card contains a small story or explanation on the back of the card. Here’s a taste of one of the cards found in this card set; Apple “An apple a day. There’s an old-fashioned prettiness to an apple tree in full bloom. It doesn’t show off (cherry trees do that just fine), it’s not exotic (take a bow magnolia), but its charms weave through history and folklore. This illustration shows its coarse twigs, five-petal bloom and heart-shaped leaves. What it doesn’t capture is the delicate scent that fills orchards, seduces insects and birds before the autumn crop. Forbidden fruit? Not for us.”
